Dealers need used vehicle inventory. Your vehicle is valuable to a dealer, even if they are not selling you a new vehicle.
The purchasing dealer will: collect all required documentation, process any existing lien payoff, and cut you a check for your vehicle equity.
At the end of every auction you are presented with the maximum offer. At this time you can choose to accept or deny the bid. Only after you have accepted will the purchasing dealer receive your contact information.
